The jury was impressed by the climatic aspects:
«"There is a real climate dimension here, with an incentive to increase the installation of solar panels and therefore the use of renewable energies rather than fossil fuels.".
WINNERS OF THE 2018 SOUTH PRIZE
Created by "Le Temps" and supported by Romande Energie, the SUD 2018 prize was won by Solaxess on September 4, 2018.

On November 8, 2016, Solaxess won the Zurich Climate Award Switzerland & Liechtenstein 2016 Construction & Housing Award category, organised by Zurich Insurance Company Ltd.
Excerpt from the jury's decision:
«"The jury welcomes the fact that this coating expands the range of applications for PV modules. Thanks to its installation on highly visible facades, the PV module is no longer an added element but a building element in itself, with enormous potential for reducing CO2 emissions.".
