What is the main activity of Solaxess SA?
Solaxess manufactures and markets white and colored films for the aesthetic integration of photovoltaic modules. Thanks to its technology, the panels can finally adapt to the demands of the construction sector. Colorful, elegant, and energy-producing: the facades are revolutionizing sustainable architecture.
Who are Solaxess SA’s clients?
The construction sector is our main market. We supply our products to photovoltaic module manufacturers worldwide. By integrating our product into the solar panel, it becomes an active building element and meets the requirements of architects, developers, and all owners. To date, we have identified around fifteen European and Asian module manufacturers, allowing us to ensure impeccable quality in the integration of our technology to deliver "high-end" products. These manufacturers are thus committed to following our lamination guidelines to provide the construction market with aesthetically pleasing and perfectly integrated photovoltaic panels.
How does our product look?
Our product range comes in rolls with a standard width of 1200 mm and a length of 167 linear meters (200 m²). Our films are between 270 microns and 350 microns thick, so our rolls generally have a diameter between 12 and 35 centimeters. Custom roll sizes are also available: please contact us if your project requires special arrangements.
What colors are currently available?
All currently available colors can be found in the “Product & Benefits” tab.
What are the sizes of the modules?
While a standard photovoltaic module measures 1000 mm by approximately 1600 mm, the world of BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaics) must be able to adapt to the needs of the facade: all typical sizes in the construction sector can be considered. Some module manufacturers are even equipped to make panels of different shapes, such as triangles, squares, rectangles, and others.
Which modules are compatible with our products?
All photovoltaic technologies that enable energy production are compatible with our system. Currently, monocrystalline silicon technology is the most suitable.
