What is the main activity of Solaxess SA?
Solaxess manufactures and markets white and colored films for the aesthetic integration of photovoltaic modules. Thanks to its technology, panels can now fully meet the demands of the construction sector. Colorful, elegant, and energy-producing, these façades are revolutionizing sustainable architecture.
Who are the customers of Solaxess SA ?
The construction sector is our main market. We supply our products to photovoltaic module manufacturers worldwide. By integrating our product into the solar panel, it becomes an active building element and meets the requirements of architects, developers, and all owners. To date, we have identified around fifteen European and Asian module manufacturers, allowing us to ensure impeccable quality in the integration of our technology to deliver "high-end" products. These manufacturers are committed to following our lamination guidelines to provide the construction market with aesthetically pleasing, seamlessly integrated photovoltaic panels.
How is our product presented ?
Our product range is available in rolls with a standard width of 1,200 mm and a length of 167 linear meters (200 m²). The films have a thickness of 270 to 350 microns, so the rolls typically have a diameter of 12 to 35 centimeters. Custom roll sizes are also available—please contact us if your project requires special specifications.
What colors are currently available?
All currently available colors can be found in the “Product & Benefits” tab.
What are the sizes of the modules?
While a standard photovoltaic module measures 1,000 mm by approximately 1,600 mm, the world of BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaics) must adapt to the specific requirements of façades: all typical construction-sector dimensions can be accommodated. Some module manufacturers are even equipped to produce panels in various shapes, such as triangles, squares, rectangles, and more.
Which modules are compatible with our products?
Our system is compatible with all photovoltaic technologies that produce electricity. At present, monocrystalline silicon technology is the ideal choice for optimal performance.
