Innovation through color

Our new technology now makes it possible to produce white and colored solar modules that are completely uniform, without visible cells or connectors.

The principle is based on two elements: firstly, a solar cell specially sensitive to infrared light, which is converted into electricity by means of a diffusion filter. Secondly, a nanotechnology film that allows infrared light to pass through and reflects the entire visible part of the solar spectrum.

The manufacture of modules in white or any other desired shade of color is possible from standard crystalline silicon or CIGS solar modules.

This process is achieved by layering several transparent dielectric layers with different refractive indices. The diffusion of visible light, necessary to obtain a homogeneous white surface, is achieved by growing the filter either by depositing it onto a microstructured surface or by bringing a sheet composed of microparticles with different refractive indices close to it. Other color approaches can be obtained by adapting the combination of filters or by adding color pigments to our formula.

Our product is perfectly compatible with any photovoltaic technology.
